Lost in space!

This term, we are learning about space. On Tuesday the teachers went to Stardome in preparation for our trip in week 8.

Basketball with Miss Hopcroft

This week in PE we were learning some large ball skills with Miss Hopcroft. We learnt how to dribble the ball, and how do a chest pass.

When you dribble the ball you need to: 

 - keep the ball close to you

 - keep the ball just in front of you

 - use soft fingers to bounce the ball.

Home Learning Challenge From Matua Edwards

In Flox Class we have been using GoNoodle to have brain breaks when we have been working hard and need to get our wriggles out.

Anzac Ceremony

Today Flox Class and McCahon Class had a ceremony to remove our field of rememberance.

We began with a waiata, Te Aroha. Then listened to the last post while we removed the crosses. It was a very solem occasion.

Lest we Forget

Letters from the Anzac Soldiers

This term we have been learning about the Anzac soliders. We wrote letters
as though we were soldiers in WW1, writing home from the trenches.
