Week 4 - Maths Night

Last week we held our annual Maths Night at Hay Park. All of our families are invited along to come and learning about what we are learning in maths at school. We also teach our families a game we can take home and play.

Families, if you missed the evening this is the presentation Mrs Rai put together. It might be helpful for you and your children.

This year we had an awesome turnout despite the horrible weather!

Sariah shared with us how she solves maths problems.

Lot's of families ready to hear about their child's learning

Everyone engaged in the Kahoot Quiz!

Week 8 - Blog Statistics

Last week in Scott Class we spent some time looking through the information that is collected on our blogs.

We were really interested to see where our audience comes from.

According to the world map gadget we have on our class blog we have had visitors from over 177 countries (there are only 196 countries in the world!!!)

It made us truly appreciate the global nature of our audience. We would love to see how many different places we can get comments from so, if you are reading this please leave a comment with where you from.

Thanks!

Maths Night

Tonight at Hay Park School we have maths night. We have created some videos to help you remember how to play these games. These games will help us with our division and subtraction.

This clip is for the game Divison Dice.
Well played Arnav and Rose, that looks like a great way to practice your divison.

This clip shows us how to play Covers Subtraction. Well done Carleece and Evanjaline!

And this last clip shows us Remainders.

Great work guys!
